We also coordinate enclosed delivery anywhere in the continental US through a partner network. Shipping cost and timing depend on distance and are quoted during the build conversation.

Are these Kimbo truck campers new or used?

Every Kimbo listed on this page is new — built to order in our Bellingham workshop and never previously owned. Each ships with full standard warranty coverage (2-year limited structural; optional 5-year extended available). For used Kimbos, the Community page has an owner network where pre-owned units occasionally come up for sale directly from owners.

What's the difference between a slide-in truck camper and a pop-up?

Accepted Answer

A slide-in truck camper (like every Kimbo) has rigid hard-side walls that stay extended whether you're driving or parked — full standing-room interior, four-season-ready insulation, more security, and longer service life. Pop-up campers raise a soft fabric roof for camp mode and collapse for travel; they're lighter and lower-profile but trade off all of the above. Kimbo doesn't make pop-ups by design — every unit is a hand-riveted aluminum hard-side slide-in.
