Interior tour
Inside the Kimbo 6 truck camper interior.
The K6 truck camper interior is organized into five distinct living zones: kitchen, sleeping platform, bath module, storage cabinetry, and integrated power and lighting. Every zone is engineered for the lightweight monocoque footprint that lets the camper fit midsize trucks.
Zone 1
Kitchen module
Stainless marine sink set in birch plywood counter with smart-touch faucet and a 2.9-gallon undercounter fresh water tank. Optional 44L Dometic 12V fridge with 3-in-1 cooling sits in a custom wood enclosure with counter extension. Wire-basket storage above the kitchen counter for everyday items. The kitchen zone occupies the curb-side wall of the camper interior, with full standing-room headroom for meal prep.
Zone 2
Sleeping platform
Cabover sleeping platform extends forward over the truck cab, configured for two adults. Brushed-fabric interior finish on the platform and surrounding walls; interior handle for easy bed access. The cabover geometry is what lets a real sleeping zone fit in the K6's truck-bed footprint without consuming the kitchen, bath, or storage space below.
Zone 3
Bath module (optional)
Modular bath options include cassette toilet and portable shower system. The K6 bath is configurable rather than fixed; owners spec the bath to actual trip use instead of carrying the weight of a full wet bath on every trip. For a dedicated wet bath module standard, see the Kimbo 8.
Zone 4
Storage cabinetry
Closet space for hanging clothes and gear; wire-basket storage above the kitchen counter; under-platform storage compartments accessible from the cabin and the exterior. Insulated propane bay with door is built into the exterior side of the camper for the standard 20-lb propane tank (or optional 30-lb high-capacity tank). Storage is intentionally modular, the truck-bed footprint rewards careful stowage over volume.
Zone 5
Power & lighting
Standard: 12V sealed battery with 110V outlets and USB ports; high-efficiency dimmable LED interior lighting with remote control. Optional Bluetti Elite 200 lithium upgrade (~2,074 Wh usable, up to 2,600 W output) with integrated 110V, 12V, and USB-A/C; additional 100 W solar input. The K6 interior power package is designed for off-grid weekend use as standard and full-time off-grid use with the lithium upgrade.
Four-season interior
Insulation, windows, heater compatibility
R5 wall insulation, double-pane Arctic Tern windows, and a pre-installed chimney pass-through for the optional Dickinson Marine Propane heater make the K6 truck camper interior comfortable in shoulder-season and mild-winter conditions. K6 owners with a Dickinson installed camp comfortably in 25°F and below.
