Delivery options & logistics
Shipping & Delivery
Two ways to take delivery of your Kimbo: pick up in person at the Bellingham, WA factory, or coordinate enclosed delivery anywhere in the continental US.
Factory pickup at Bellingham
Factory pickup is the default and most-common delivery path. It happens at our Bellingham, WA workshop by appointment scheduled during the final week of production.
Pickup includes a delivery walkthrough with the team that built your camper — covering systems, fit on your truck, and any owner-specific configuration details. Most owners spend an hour or two at the shop on pickup day; some plan a longer visit to camp out of the camper for a night before driving it home.
You're agreed to schedule and pick up your camper within two weeks of the completion date communicated by Kimbo. The remaining balance — the 60% due after the 40% production deposit — is collected at the time of pickup.
Continental US delivery
For owners who can't travel to Bellingham, we coordinate enclosed delivery anywhere in the continental US through a partner network of camper-experienced transporters.
Enclosed transport protects the camper from road debris, weather, and over-the-road wear during transit. The carriers we work with regularly move custom campers and understand the fit-sensitivity of a Kimbo install — they're not just generic vehicle transport.
Shipping cost and timing depend on distance, route, and current carrier rates — there's no flat fee. Both are quoted during your build conversation so you can compare against a pickup trip and make the call that works for you.
Cost & payment timing
Shipping cost is quoted during the build conversation. Shipping and applicable taxes are not included in the estimated build price shown on the Kimbo 6 or Kimbo 8 configurator — the final invoice issued before pickup or shipment carries the all-in total.
For shipped campers, final payment is due prior to shipment — the remaining 60% balance is collected before the camper leaves the Bellingham factory.
For factory pickups, final payment is due at the time of pickup. The 40% production deposit at order time is the same for both delivery paths.
Outside the continental US
Our standard delivery partner network covers the continental US. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, or Mexico is possible but requires a separate quote and longer planning — contact us during the build conversation if you're outside the continental US and we'll work through the logistics together.
Scheduling delays & storage
Campers are stored at the shop at no charge for up to two weeks after the completion date communicated by Kimbo. After that, a storage fee of $20 per day accrues and is due before pickup. Storage invoices are sent at the end of each month.
If you anticipate a scheduling delay, contact the team early — most scheduling conflicts can be accommodated with advance notice.
