Financing

Truck camper financing for your Kimbo.

Two lender paths: apply online for a fast unsecured RV loan, or follow our guide to apply through your own credit union — pick the path that fits how you bank.

Choose your lender

Two ways to finance a Kimbo truck camper.

Most Kimbo buyers finance through one of these two paths. Both end with the same camper in your driveway; they differ in speed, rate, and how the loan is secured.

Apply online

LightStream

LightStream is the online consumer lending division of Truist Bank — one of the ten largest banks in the United States. Apply online for unsecured RV financing with no fees, no collateral, and no dealer markup; funds deposit directly to your account when approved.

Through your credit union

Credit Union

Often the lowest rate available. Apply for a secured RV loan through your local credit union — we'll provide the itemized build sheet, factory invoice, and Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin your loan officer needs.

How to choose

When to pick which.

The right path depends on your existing banking relationship, how quickly you want to close, and whether you'd rather avoid putting the camper up as collateral.

Pick the online path if…

Speed and simplicity.

  • You don't already have a credit union relationship.
  • You want to apply online and get funds deposited to your bank account.
  • You'd rather not put the camper up as collateral.
  • You value speed of approval over shaving a fraction of a point on rate.

Online unsecured RV financing means the application, approval, and funding all happen on the lender's website, with no dealer in the loop. See the option card above for the lender we currently work with.

Pick the credit-union path if…

Lowest rate, willing to do the legwork.

  • You already bank with a credit union or qualify to join one.
  • You want the lowest available rate on a secured RV loan.
  • You're comfortable with the camper as collateral and the small extra paperwork that comes with a secured loan.
  • You can wait a few extra business days for underwriting and a membership share deposit.

Our credit-union financing guide walks through which loan to ask for, what documents we'll provide, and the most common loan-officer questions.
